Alps and huts
850 km of hiking trails with nature at her best are at the hiking enthusiasts disposal. Our motto is “ Wunderbar & wanderbar” (a wonderful and great walk).
Walk along the valley, past roaring waterfalls, in the alpines richest regions. There are over 50 cosy huts en route to the eternal ice at 3000 m altitude.
To bring you the most beautiful places nearer, we recommend you tour with a guide. Our tip: the „Besinnungsweg“ in Pinnistal!!
Mountain biking
Neustift has set a new standard with over 110 km of uniformly signposted biking routes. The routes offer trips in every degree of difficulty ranging from comfortable bicycle rides to sweaty circuits at altitudes of 2700 m. Mountain bike-maps can receive in our house.
Swimming
Visit the public indoor pool with water-slide in the leisure-centre or outdoor swimming pool Neustift or enjoy the landscape pond Kampl with many childrens playing facilities and landscape pond “Klausäuele” (near Falbeson).

Paragliding and hang gliding
Freedom knows no boundaries above the clouds! Our nationally certified tandem pilots would like to share this wonderful experience of freedom with you. Feel like a bird and fly over the roofs of Neustift or Fulpmes. You receive 5 % discount for the flight.
Fishing
Between the Grawawasserfall (before the glacier) until Neder there is the fishing-zone of Neustift. Angle for nice trout or other fish and cook it in the evening on the grill in the garden. Wouldn’t that be a great idea??
Rafting und Canyoning
On the waves of the tyrolean rivers or rope down from the canyons. The outdoorprofis will organise your trip including barbecue and music.

Shopping
Neustift offers you a lot of possibilities to go shopping. There are exclusive Boutiques as well as a lot of high quality Sport Shops. At Fulpmes (6km) you will find shops with particular „Tyrolean“ fashion. The capital Innsbruck is situated only 20 km from Neustift. The Maria Theresien Street offers you a lot of beautiful shops and takes you to the “old city”. Italy (Vipiteno and Bolzano ) is also very near to the Stubai Valley and offers plenty of facilities and beautiful shops!
Excursion
The Old-City of Innsbruck
The Inner City and the Old Town together make up the heart of historic Innsbruck . It is well worth going on a walkabout in the narrow streets to soak up the atmosphere. There are lots of fascinating historical sights to see, such as the Hofburg and the Hofkirche; the latter houses the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I. Other attractions also include the women`s chapter founded by Maria Theresia, the legendary Goldene Dachl , the imposing baroque church Domkirche St. Jakob with its famous cathedral square, the Triumphpforte (commissioned by Maria Theresia in honour of her son`s engagement to the Spanish princess Maria Ludovica), the Annasäule and the Leopoldsbrunnen
Innsbruck
Nowadays Innsbruck, with its 150.000 inhabitants, is, because of its favourable position in the Alps, an international centre for winter sports and was the host of the Olympic Winter Games twice, in 1964 and 1976. It is also kind of an unofficial capital for snowboarding in Europe.
Music
In the village center there are live music evenings every week with typical Tyrolean dances in original dresses and special shows for our guests. On special weekends there also music-festivals for days. Do not hesitate to ask us for the program for the period you like to come.
Farmer´s theater
Once a week there is theatre in the leisure centre in Neustift.

Ambras Castle
DPerched high above Innsbruck , Ambras Castle can be seen for miles around and is one of the most important sights of the capital of Tyrol . Its historic-cultural significance is inseparably linked to the personality of Archduke Ferdinand II (1529-1595), a genuine Renaissance prince who promoted the arts and sciences. He founded the magnificent Ambras collections, and in the Lower Castle he built a museum created with the most modern criteria in mind.
